Results of Endorsement Meeting for March 2024 Primary Election

Dear Caucus Members,

Thank you to all who participated in the APA Dem Caucus’ Primary Endorsement meeting on Jan. 13, 2024.  We appreciate everyone who participated and were impressed by the quality of candidates who participated in our process.

Those candidates who received 60% of the votes cast are as follows:

State Senate District 5 – Jerry McNerney
State Senate District 9 – Marisol Rubio
Central Committee – AD 14:  James Chang, Igor Tregub, Alfred Twu
Central Committee – AD 16: Patricia Munro, Yeon Park
Central Committee – AD 20:  Melissa Hernandez, Elisa Marquez, Harris Mojadedi
Central Committee – AD 24:  Annie Koruga, Raj Salwan, Moina Shaiq, Nancy Thomas

While closely contested, none of the candidates for AC BOS #4, and #5, SD 7, and Superior Court 12 received the needed 60% of the votes for our endorsement.  The same is true for any of the AD 18 candidates for Central Committee.
